Key Responsibilities:
- Administers enterprise-wide contract administration program.
- Supports Board committee functions as directed.
- Responsible for the overall coordination and performance management of assigned contracts.
- Administers enterprise-wide Provider Recruitment and Onboarding programs.
- Evaluates general contracts’ performance to determine the necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts and compliance to contractual obligations.
- Ensures timely general contract execution by the parties; ensures final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations and comply with established general contracting policies as well as all applicable laws and regulations.
- Facilitates contract management review steering committee and requisite annual contract performance reviews with vendors in accordance with Joint Commission standards.
- Facilitates Provider Recruitment activities and serves as liaison with the Physician Arrangement Review Team collaborating with Compliance to ensure compliance with established provider arrangement policies and procedures throughout the recruitment process.
- Coordinates the review of terms, conditions and the assignment of appropriate legal counsel as necessary and appropriate.
- Reviews contractor and consultant invoices of assigned contracts against contract terms for accuracy.
- Prepares status reports and briefs management on issues or problems.
- Generates reports on contract and subcontract activity as required.
- Assists management in preparing procedural changes and in the resolution of contract-related problems.
- Lead and support audits, as appropriate, with internal and external audit teams and agencies to support contract-related activities and verify compliance.
- Maintains skills and knowledge within professional practice.
- Performs similar or related duties as assigned.
- Knows fire, disaster and safety procedures and regulations as it pertains to the work area.
- Bachelor's degree Required.
- 3 years to < 5 years Healthcare, paralegal or accounting experience a plus.
- Six Sigma Green Belt Certification a plus
