General Description: 
Under the direct supervision of the Director, Human Resources, the HR Generalist is responsible to perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to HRIS administration, compensation, disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance management; productivity, recognition, and enforcing policies and practices. The position shall exemplify the desired Culture of Choice® and philosophies of Parrish Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities: 
Healing Communities (Growth & Development)
1. Performs duties in accordance with industry leading practices and in alignment with organizational goals to include, but not limited to HRIS administration, workforce planning, compensation administration, employee relations, etc.
2. Assures the achievement of departmental dashboard metrics within each strategic pillar (People, Service, Quality, Growth, Finances); takes immediate and effective steps to assure national benchmarks are achieved or sustained.
Healing Experiences (Service)
3. Performs duties in a manner that always results in providing excellent, healing experiences as measured by national best-practice benchmarks.
System Reliability (Quality/Safety)
4. Maintains and serves as HRIS and performance management system admin and generates needed/requested reports (e.g. turnover, vacancy, worker’s comp, etc.).
5. Conducts compensation analysis ensuring integrity of the compensation administration program and in accordance with industry best-practices.
6. Leads the implementation of the Care Partner Recognition and Engagement program.
7. Conducts employee investigations and partners with department leaders on disciplinary matters in accordance with the system’s Healing Work Environment and Standards of Behavior policy and procedures.
8. Serves as a role model and advocate for Parrish Healthcare’s Culture of Choice® to include, but not limited to, supporting as needed/directed recruitment, orientation, onboarding, employee engagement (retention), performance management; workforce planning, etc.
9. Participates and supports departmental continuous improvement efforts; holds self and others accountable for actions and outcomes; participates in necessary certification, accreditation, and audit procedures; and ensures that reports required by regulatory agencies are prepared and submitted within established timeframes.
10. Responsible for the adherence to all organizational policies and procedures as well as regulations and codes established by federal, state, and local governments affecting professional practice and industry regulations.

11. 12. Maintains skills and knowledge within professional practice; able to step in and serve as back up to fellow Care Partners to cover staffing needs as necessary.

13. Adheres to systems, processes, policies, and procedures that result in effective administration of annual budget(s); productive, cost efficient and effective operations; and effective corrective actions for any operating expenses that deviate from budget. 

Requirements:

Formal Education:
  •  Bachelor’s Degree required
Work Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years to < 5 years relevant experience.
Required Licenses, Certifications, Registrations:
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM or related strongly preferred.
    Six Sigma Yellow Belt required within one (1) year of hire.
