General Description: 
This position reports to the Director, Human Resources and is responsible for coordinating comprehensive design, development and implementation of Parrish’s employee benefits programs. The position shall exemplify the desired Culture of Choice® and philosophies of Parrish Healthcare. Key Responsibilities: 
  •  Manage all benefits programs including health and welfare, retirement, rewards and recognition. Develop and maintain a system of procedures to administer the programs. 
  • Manage the open enrollment process. Partners with broker to develop census data and solicit insurance companies for quotations. Evaluate quotations and makes recommendations to management. Develop company cost information for new plans and makes recommendations to management concerning sharing of cost between employer and employee. Administer employee benefits in all company operations. 
  • Manage wellness programs to ensure cohesiveness of activities, maximized participation, engaged participants, effective communication and positive ROI. Supervise Employee Health Nurse and monitor service delivery and satisfaction of employee health clinic. 
  • Ensure policies and procedures are compliant with state and federal laws and regulations on employee benefits. 
  • Handle benefit inquiries and complaints to ensure quick, equitable, courteous resolution. Ensures proper and complete utilization of benefits for all employees. 
  • Ensures benefits bills are correct and processed in a timely manner. 
  • Collaborates with HR team and hiring managers to develop and/or improve programs and services in response to emerging trends and best or leading practices in area(s) of responsibilities. 
  • Performs similar or related duties as assigned. 
  • Knows fire, disaster and safety procedures and regulations as it pertains to the work area 
Requirements:

Formal Education:
  •   Associates Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.  
Work Experience:
  • 2 years to < 3 years 
Required Licenses, Certifications, Registrations:
  • PHR, SPHR or PMP is preferred. 
  • Six Sigma yellow Belt certification required (within 1st year).
